So What Can I Do To Prevent Habitat Loss On My Property?

Planting native plants will attract birds, butterflies, and pollinators such as bees.

Remember:

Food + Water + Cover + Space = Bird and Wildlife Habitat

Each animal has different requirements. How can I learn more about these requirements?

Woodpeckers, Chickadees, and Nuthatches make or use cavities in dead branches or trees and eat seeds and insects. By providing nest boxes and suet feeders, you can meet those needs.

If you don’t have a natural water source on your property, provide a bird bath or man-made pond.

5 Easy Steps make your yard healthier for you and wildlife….
